Application Tokens

Tokens are necessary for additional protection of your application when using it on the internet. You can configure them in the "Settings" menu, under the "Application Tokens" subsection.

Tokens

In your project settings, you can choose how to secure it. Thus, if you decide to protect your application using security certificates, you do not need to configure tokens. The App tokens tab is displayed only while mTLS is disabled in the project; when mTLS is enabled, the Application Certificates tab is available instead.

Creating a Token​

In the Generate app tokens card, specify:

  • App name — a word or phrase that you can use to identify the token.
  • Expired date — the date after which the token becomes invalid and can no longer secure the internet connection. By default, the date is set to one year from the current date.

After filling in the information, click the Create button. The button is unavailable until both fields are filled. The token will be added to the list of active tokens, which is located above the form.

Viewing a Token​

To view the token, click on the "eye" icon Edit in the token row. In the dialog that opens, you can view and copy the token.

Deleting a Token​

You can delete a token by clicking on the delete icon Edit on the selected token. After confirming the action in the dialog, the token will be deleted and will disappear from the list. It will no longer be possible to establish a secure connection using it.
