Application tokens
Tokens add a layer of protection to your application when you use it over the internet. You can configure them in the "Settings" menu, in the "Application Tokens" subsection.
In your project settings, you can choose how to secure the project. If you protect your application with security certificates, you don't need to configure tokens. The App tokens tab appears only while mTLS is disabled in the project. When mTLS is enabled, the Application Certificates tab is available instead.
Create a token
In the Generate app tokens card, specify:
- App name: a word or phrase you can use to identify the token.
- Expired date: the date after which the token becomes invalid and can no longer secure the internet connection. Defaults to one year from the current date.
Click Create. The button is unavailable until both fields are filled in. The token appears in the list of active tokens above the form.
View a token
To view a token, click the eye icon 
in its row. In the dialog that opens, you can view and copy the token.
Delete a token
To delete a token, click the delete icon 
on it.
After you confirm the action in the dialog, the token is deleted and disappears from the list.
It can no longer be used to establish a secure connection.
