Creating a Wishlist Similar Block

The Wishlist similar block recommends products that are similar to those the user has added to their wishlist. It is structurally similar to the Cart similar — with the same fields and the same WishlistSimilarSettings screen — but it uses the wishlist as its source instead of the cart.

1. Creating the Block

In the Name field, enter a title, select "Wishlist similar" in the "Type" field, and specify a

Marker
. After clicking Add, the block will appear in the table.

2. Editing the Block

The WishlistSimilarSettings screen includes:

  • Basic data
  • Automatic attribute matching (Automatic mode)
  • Audience filter
  • Preview

Automatic Attribute Matching

This is the main section. Select the attributes by which similar products will be matched. The logic is controlled by the "Match all attributes" checkbox:

  • Enabled → matches all attributes (AND).
  • Disabled → matches at least one (OR).

Next to the checkbox is an icon with a detailed explanation.

In the Found products preview, under each product, it displays Matched by: Brand: ONE, Color: White — indicating the attribute by which the match occurred.

Audience Filter

The audience for the block — see Audience Filter.

Attributes

The "Attributes" tab contains two dropdown lists for selecting a Template and a Set of Attributes.

Preview

The "Open in modal" button opens the Preview Modal.

ℹ️Cart similar or Wishlist similar?

The fields and interface of these two blocks are identical. The only difference is the source: Cart similar looks at the cart, while Wishlist similar looks at the wishlist. Choose the block type based on which screen of the site it will be displayed on.
